Get a simple local print working first, then add only the remote features you need.
Confirm your device’s print route
Check whether the exact printer supports the print method on your phone or tablet, such as AirPrint, an Android print service or the manufacturer’s app. Connect the devices as the instructions require and print a simple page before trying a large file.
Distinguish local from remote access
Printing to a device on the same network differs from sending a job through a remote service. A remote feature may need an account, internet access or a separate setting. Verify its requirements instead of assuming every wireless printer accepts jobs from anywhere.
Check the mobile preview carefully
Phone print dialogs can hide useful controls behind additional menus. Confirm page range, paper size, orientation and copy count. For a photo, inspect the crop; for a PDF, make sure an automatically selected scale has not cut off text at the edges.
